NORT 2 VORT Course
The RADskills NORT 2 VORT course is specifically deigned for the new driver. The aim is to equip a new driver with the necessary skills to competently control a vehicle.
The course is comprised of six 2 hr sessions & is backed up by comprehensive RADskills designed Driver Training Manual.
Students are assisted step by step through the driving skills process.
The aim is to have students ready for a V.O.R.T examination within 12 hours*
The NORT 2 VORT course is broken into 3 modules:
Module one is based on 2 x 2 hr sessions
Carried out in the safety of a car park, these sessions are focused on slow speed manoeuvres with an emphasis on steering, braking and reversing.
Module two is based on 3 x 2 hr sessions
This module introduces the student to varying traffic conditions. Starting with light traffic in suburban areas to the complexities of a multi-lane intersections & roundabouts. Finishing with country driving, introducing students to the varying road conditions found in country areas.
Module three is based on 1 x 2 hr session
Reserved for polishing off the skills presented & to prepare the student for the V.O.R.T examination.
As a token of our appreciation for participating in the NORT 2 VORT course, RADskills is able to offer no hire fee for the use of our dual-control vehicle during the exam. A V.O.R.T assessor fee is applicable and is inclusive of the DTEI (Department of Transport, Energy & Infrastructure) booking fee.*
