Scooter School

This 2 hr course is for people who have recently acquired a small capacity scooter and have not attended the Rider Safe training program.
The course starts with a road safety discussion including street strategies and safety clothing, followed by practical exercises including: cornering, braking, lane position and eye direction. The exercises designed to help you understand the dynamics of cornering, braking, body positioning and throttle control.
this course is conducted in the safety of a car park and is personal training, assuring maximum contact time with our professional instructors.

This course is designed to give you the confidence and knowledge to handle the complexities of riding a small capacity scooter in today’s traffic.

This course is backed up by the RADskills Scooter Training Manual, The Hazard Perception Book and the Ride Smart video game.

  • Pre Requirements for participating in this course are.
  • You must have an ASO approved safety helmet (sliver sticker with AS1698).
  • Shoes that over your ankle.
  • Gloves.
  • Jeans and a long sleeve shirt or motorcycle jacket.
