Just returned to motorcycle riding after a 30 year break. Bought a new bike and really enjoyed the first 5000k but found myself avoiding the twisties through lack of confidence as I wasn’t getting my lines right in those corners. I figured at my age (or any age!) spending a day with an expert who could get down to the basics in keeping with the KISS (keep it simple stupid!) principle could quite likely increase my life expectancy on a motorcycle! Jeff didn’t disappoint! The two hours at the start of the day we spent on understanding the set up of the bike was fantastic, as the little changes we made to our machines made all the difference once out on the road. Jeff employed all the good teaching strategies to make sure we understood (and more importantly could put into practice) the observational, cornering, braking and body positioning skills we would need. Once up at Eagle on the Hill we spent time talking about the theory of cornering and then rode in a car through the series of curves we were about to bike while Jeff talked (and walked) us through each one. We rode down and back behind Jeff first before taking the lead ourselves with Jeff observing from behind. Debriefing occurred at every stage. A session on emergency braking dramatically decreased our stopping distance. When the formal teaching part of the day was over we went for an hour and a half ride through the hills where we shared the lead while Jeff videoed our progress. I had a two hour ride home after a very long day and I can honestly say it was one of the better rides I’ve had. I’m more confident and more relaxed on the bike and feel much more prepared for the surprises that await us all out there. If you’re new or returning to motorcycling or even if you just haven’t been out riding enough and are feeling a bit rusty this course is good value, will increase your enjoyment of your bike and may even save your life. If you’re a parent of a young person just starting out on a bike – don’t even think about it – just pick up the phone and book them in!

Jeff was an outstanding teacher from as soon as the course begun. He covered all the need know procedures for proper motorcycle maintenance and custom set up (during which he set up my bike to best suit me), how to read the road and anticipate traffic to best keep yourself safe, how to steer the bike according to specific corner types and body positioning, and how to brake properly when you need to. The course format was excellent; a full day of hands on learning, outdoors, doing some sensational riding through the hills, all with adequate breaks and no questions left unanswered. Jeff was a great host too providing lunch and drinks! I can honestly say i probably never would have learned all the info and skills which jeff's course taught me from anywhere else. They will probably save my life one day and has made me a much safer rider. As a learner, I definitely recommend Jeff's complete course to any other riders who want to become as safe and efficient motorcyclists as they can be. Two thumbs up, thanks Jeff.

‎Jeffrey Lane is the best driving instructor I could have hoped for. He taught me to drive proficiently and safely, a skill which I will keep for life. He gave me confidence in myself and my ability and truly invested himself in ensuring I was a great driver. I wholeheartedly recommend RADskills as your driving school of choice.

My son recently passed his VORT and now has his Ps largely thanks to Jeff's instruction and preparation. I was impressed with Jeff's professional approach - his focus on safety and the development of defensive driving skills were a feature of his totally professional approach to driving instruction, no doubt in part due to his vast experience as a bike rider and instructor. He developed instant rapport with my son who responded very well to Jeff's style and communication skills, great with this age group. I'm very happy to recommend Jeff as a driving instructor, particularly for teenage boys. Well done Jeff and many thanks.

The Bike skills was excellent, setting the bike up was something new higlighting areas I hadn't considered. The exercise on cornering had an immedieate impact of how I was riding, by end of day confidence in cornering had reached new heights - looking forward to getting back on the road to put it all into practice. Jeff is very professional - one thing missing for me - a quick coffee/tea break in mid morning to allow all the info to sink in and revitalise, a few flasks on Eagle on the Hill would be good. Would reccomend the course to anyone wishing to enjoy the ride taht bit more - cheers Jeff.

Having just completed my VORT test after lessons with RADskills I have not only passed but have gained a wealth of knowledge and skills that I know will help me to be a responsible, safe and smart driver on our roads. The lessons were fantastic, with excellent teaching, patience and always a humorous anecdote to take the edge off, I definitely recommend them, and urge others that I now feel utterly confident with my driving now I've completed this course.

As a mother of an autistic child who wanted to learn to drive, I found Jeff to be a Godsend as a driving instructor for my son Callan. Very calm and patient, extremely knowledgable and competent, Jeff is a prime example of what all instructors should aspire to be. Jeff instinctively knew what were the best ways to engage Callan's attention in the driving lessons so that he would retain and constantly improve upon the safe driving techniques shown to him that are so essential in today's driving climate. Nothing was too much trouble and the course is very inclusive of the parents. My trust in Jeff's teaching abilities was rewarded when Callan passed his VORT the first time. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Jeff for helping my son realise a long cherished dream and I highly recommend Jeff and RADskills to any parent wanting the best possible driving education for their child. My youngest son will be following his older brother's lead when it is his turn to learn to drive. Thank you again Jeff for a job extremely well done.

We found Jeff to be a very knowledegable, highly competent teacher. His lessons were well planned with much thought given to what skills were needed to create a safe, respectful driver. He was clear in communicating to us what he had taught Isaac each lesson so that we knew what to work on as supervising drivers. It was a relief to leave the 'tough stuff' to Jeff who was skillful at knowing just how far to challenge Isaac without destroying his confidence. Isaac successfully passed his Vort last week and continues to talk about and put into practice the safe driving techniques Jeff has instilled in him. This has benefitted the whole family as Isaac continually brings us to task if we exceed the speed limit and are less than perfect in our driving! As the owners of the car Isaac has been learning in we particularly liked the way that Jeff reminded him that it was a priviledge to be able to drive someone's car and was his responsibility to ensure we felt safe for him to do so. We will definitely use Jeff to teach our other two teenagers when they are ready to learn.Thankyou Jeff for your professional, calm and friendly manner.

Vort can sound daunting, but with learning through RADskills, i was able to not only pass, but feel absolutely happy with my driving on the day. I think that the way in which the lessons are constructed enables learners to get the most out of the lessons and feel absolutely comfortable doing any sort of manoeuvre. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be an exceptional driver!

Jeff was a fantasic teacher. I passed my VORT test first time and felt confident preparing for it under his instruction. Jeff heleped me develop good driving habits and was willing to go that extra mile to ensure that I understood all the aspects of driving relevant. Fantastic course. I went from being a scared, anxious L-plater, to a competent, confident P-plater, and now two month owner of a perfectly parked and still scratch-free car. If you spoke my friends and family they would tell you that this is some miracle Jeff managed to perform! Can't recommend this course and Jeff enough, he made it really easy and bent over backwards to help me achieve so much over a very short time period and after many years of putting off getting my license. I feel rather stupid for putting it off as I now really love driving, even at 100km/hr, which I thought I'd never do! Thanks a bunch Jeff!

As parents of a leaner taught by Jeff. We found him a professional in every way, and gave us a great sense of relief. Our teenager was given the best possible start to her driving career, and with Jeff's help, has continued to to feel confident and drive in a safe manner whilst on her provisional license. Radskills provided an excellent service, with jeff always more than happy to help with any issues or problems that i may be facing whilst i was a learner driver under his instruction. Not only did i develop skills that will potentially save my life, but the others around me also learnt new laws and skills that they could put into practice. Advanced on road motorcycle course and found it excellent. Jeff's instruction was really tailored to the individual and gave heaps of theory and practice that has made a big difference almost immediately to my riding. On all counts I would recommend this program for someone who wants to be a much better rider. (Besides that, it was a lot of fun learning.)

‎We become permanent residents recently and were in need to get our drivers license converted to a South Australian drivers license. RADskill were recommended through a work colleague. With only a month (as per Section 80 requirement) to covert our drivers licenses successfully once the theoretical test was passed, Jeff certainly created an environment where we could be trained and adequately prepared for the VORT. Jeff was very professional and logical throughout. The two hour sessions certainly made a difference. After the mock VORT, we were adequately prepared and both the wife and I passed the VORT the first time (within the month). All supplied documentation, the vehicle and facilities are excellent. Thanks for all the assistance and advice during a stressful period, which turned out good in the end.

After trying another company which I didnt like, I tried RADSKILLS. I went with the Nort to Vort and found Jeff very caring and friendly. As I am a 36 year old student, he managed to correct my old school driving and habits etc. He was very patient and professional. The car was easy to drive also. took the Nort to Vort course with radskills and had no complaints. The lessons were structured well to give the learner driver confidence and skills required to be a safe driver. This is the type of course you want to enrol your kid in. I had my Ps in less than a month. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I was after from a driving school. Nort to Vort is comprehensive and well structured. Instruction is professional and the instructor is very experienced as well as being supportive and non-judgmental. Focus s on passing your test but also on driving safety and not being a risk to yourself or others whilst on the road. Facilities (car, etc) are excellent and supplied training materials are extremely helpful.
